Stephen grew up near Venice and currently lives in Bristol, UK. He studied all types of music from an early age, winning the International Music Competition “Citta' di Stresa" for young choristers. 

Stephen is an integrative counsellor with training, amongst others, in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mental Health First Aid. Stephen is also an HCPC registered Music Therapist and a certified NMT Neurologic Music Therapist, with a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Psychology of pathological addictions, and an ongoing MSc in Clinical Psychology. Stephen is also a fully qualified nurse (BSc Nursing).

He has a broad range of experience with different client populations, including adults with mental health difficulties, PTSD, anxiety and depression, children and young adults with learning difficulties and autism, Down Syndrome, and older people with dementia.

Within a holistic person-centred approach, he includes also in his practice techniques based on mindfulness and breath-work, offering a combination of talking and non-verbal approaches to creatively help the clients in their life’s difficulties. His approach is non-judgmental and compassionate, supporting his clients on their journey to healing and mind-body-spirit wellbeing. Stephen's experience includes working with a  diverse range of clients of different ages, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and spiritual beliefs.
